Jackson Hlungwani was an artist who initiated his life as a cattle herder and by the time of his death in 2010 he had became a legendary artist and sculptor. His work is exhibited at the University of Johannesburg Art Gallery. HEART JOBURG FESTIVAL:  

Quite a new event in Johannesburg but has taken a good fame in a very short time due to its beautiful and full of life concept. The festival was planned by the events planning company Steyn Entertainment that is pretty notorious in bringing international artist into the country. The astonishing fact about the event is that it is a 12 hours show that ran continuously 12 hours having a good amalgamation of some real good stuff regarding music featuring a number of local and international artists. The festival takes place in the gracious Ellis Park in Jo'Burg.

JOZI BOOK FAIR: 

The festival has been running successfully from 2009 and from that time uptill now is always welcomed and praised by its viewers and attendees. The book fair is held at the Central Johannesburg College that remains over the course of 2 days. The main purpose of the event is to promote the South African culture and also to develop an interest in the people especially the young ones in reading and writing.
