Still thinking about old topics about Sierra Leone? ... Forget them! That happens. Do you think making a trip to Sierra Leone isn't an issue? ... War and clashes finished in 2002. Today, Sierra Leone is an exceptionally tranquil nation, absolutely sheltered, fantastically lovely, with a steady majority rules system and numerous vacation destinations to offer the voyager. When heading out to Sierra Leone you will find a standout amongst the most intriguing and obscure goals in West Africa as in the midst of globalization and vacationer bundles sold in mass, an outing to Sierra Leone is as yet energizing experience.
Beaches and Islands
The shorelines here are totally wonderful, and every one of them (and there are a great deal of them) appears to offer something else - from the dark sand at York Beach to the white sand at number 2 of the stream. The shorelines are at the specific focus of Sierra Leone's tourism contributions to its guests. Do not stop buying crafts, textiles and with the support of an expert, gold jewelry. The ritual masks in Sierra Leone are a very traditional souvenir. To visit the forests and nature reserves it is better to do it in groups and with experienced and recommended guides. Accommodation options are few. Find out in time the one that best suits your needs.

Turtle Islands
A gathering of eight islands of the southwest landmass, the Islands of the Turtles are charming and are possessed by angling networks. They are remote and troublesome (and conceivably costly) to get to, as it can take no less than 3 hours from Freetown by speedboat. There is a fundamental Conservation Society visitor house where you can stay, or, obviously, you can simply manufacture a tent. A pontoon trek to a few islands is suggested as is swimming and angling with neighborhood anglers. The water (and air) Is perfect and crisp which makes swimming a genuinely pleasurable ordeal.

Mount Bintumani
Also known as Loma Mansa, the mighty King of the Mountains, Mount Bintumani (1945 m) is the highest peak in West Africa until it reaches Cameroon. Do not stop touring the markets of Freetown. The most famous is the Basket Market, near the seafront. Do visit the cotton plantation of Pademba Road, with more than 500 years of history. Spend some time in the rooms of the National Museum, and appreciate its incredible collection of tribal masks, and go to Old Fourah Bay College, the oldest university in West Africa. So what are you waiting for?

Lakka
If you like bird watching, Sierra Leone is the ideal country for you. There are more than 120 different species in their nature reserves. One of them is the Loma Mountains Forest Reserve with giant trees that are inhabited by chimpanzees. We suggest you walk through the narrow streets of Freetown and visit the mansions of colonial and Creole architecture. Another must-do is to skirt the Isabel II canal and the port, one of the largest in the world. This place is truly magnificent and not only the bird lovers but the usual people will also fall in love with this place!
